One of the joys of having a daughter

… is dressing her up. Even if sometimes it is cocktail umbrellas stuck between her toes, fake flowers, beaded bands and other sundry rubbish. Maybe she’ll kill me when she sees this picture. Or maybe she’ll understand how simply terrific it was for me to just be silly with her.

  1. I know exactly what you mean… dressing up a daughter is SO MUCH fun… πŸ™‚ the beanie will probably have a smile on her face when she sees these snaps later πŸ™‚

  2. You know, seeing these very cute pix, what hit me is that my kids’ legs are straight now. Sounds weird? That frog-leg pose while sleeping and sitting is all gone…they’re straightened out. Sigh! Enjoy her for me, ok?

PS. As usual, I love the bed linen! πŸ™‚

    • LOL! I know what you mean. even i miss the strangest things about babies. the lack of drool, the straighter legs, the loss of dimpled fingers, the milky breath…

thank you – bed linen from shoppers stop πŸ™‚

  3. If someone needs to know what the meaning of ‘constant company’ or ‘obsession’ is, they should see these pics on your blog, MM.
(I meant Lumpy. What were you thinking?)

  4. I waaaant one!! I mean daughter, not the bling. Her feet looks adorable in it πŸ™‚

I keep seeing these super cute kiddie clothes. i even have a tiny tee that says My Mamma #1. My daughter will come out of the hospital wearing that πŸ˜€ That will be the final reward, self proclaimed #1, but what the hell :))

    I love BeanieBoooo! πŸ™‚

  5. Did u dress up her purple baby also ;p … I love her baby legs.. they make me go aww and kissie wissi each time πŸ™‚ .. I like the beads and fake flowers thingy .. bhery chic ;p

  6. oh…i’m soooo not good at this sort of thing. does anyone want to come and play dress up with my mottai-papa?

she, evidently, loves it. the past month all the cousins were together and the two older girls spent a lot of time dressing her up, getting her to pose and taking loads pof pics of her. she revelled in it. but, it’s all over now – back to boring old mama.

  7. Awwww…baby feet and baby toes. I want a baby too! What fun πŸ™‚

Kissies, Beanie baby. You are super cool πŸ™‚

  8. Beanie being the quirky fashionista that she is, as proved by the toilet seat-tiara styling, I am sure she’ll appreciate your take on styling her. Awwww the beloved pachyderm makes another appearance on the blog :)I like πŸ™‚

  9. I love that bedsheet!
And Beanie looks so like a Hawaiian beauty, only if you’d put a large flower in her hair and she said “Aloha”!

  10. Don’t have kids yet but all my nieces get pampered – I’m their fav aunt! I need a daughter I tell my hubby that if I don’t get one I’ll be depressed for life – adopted or my own our house needs a daughter!

  11. awww…my daughter doesn’t put on anything other than jeans!! Truly, she cries for jeans instead of pyjamas in the night and I cry whenever I see the piles of lovely girls cloths I’ve bought for her! Now this is what happens when a girl has two elder bros???!! boo hooo

And in your opinion....
